Yes, Trawick Travel Insurance plans do cover covid-19 and are treated like a new sickness or illness that may occur. These polices include Safe Travels Elite, Safe Travel USA Comprehensive, Safe Travel International and Safe Travel Outbound plans.
No, Trawick International does not offer sports coverage on their plans. Recreational sports are covered.
To file a claim, you will need to fill out Trawick International Insurance claim form and include any medical bills and documentation. Once submitted, the insurance company will reach out to the provider if any additional details are needed and start the process of the claim.

ACUTE ONSET OF PRE-EXISTING CONDITION
Benefits are payable for an Acute Onset of a Pre-Existing Condition up to the maximum as stated in the Schedule of Benefits provided the condition or event:
1. occurs spontaneously and without advance warning either in the form of Physician recommendations or symptoms, is of short duration, is rapidly progressive, and requires urgent and immediate medical care; 2. occurs a minimum of 48 hours after the Effective Date of the Policy; and 3. treatment is obtained within 24 hours of the sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence.
Any repeat/reoccurrence within the same Policy Period will no longer be considered Acute Onset of a Pre-Existing Condition and will not be eligible for additional coverage. This benefit covers only one (1) Acute Onset episode of a Pre-Existing Condition. Sudden and Acute Onset of a Pre-Existing Condition Coverage expires upon medical advice that the condition and onset is no longer acute, or the Covered Person is discharged from a medical facility
Trawick International does offer trip cancellation plans that have the option for CFAR coverage which stands for “cancel for any reason”. Trawick Travel insurance plans do have a customer service support team that can answer any questions regrading benefits 24/7. The number will be listed on your ID Card and policy documents.

Trawick does offer visa letters on all of their policies. Once you purchase a plan, you will see your ID Card, Visa Letter and Certificate listed on your enrollment confirmation for easy download.
To cancel a Trawick International plan, you can email us at info@visitorsinsurance.com with your policy details and reason for cancellation. We will then share this information with Trawick for processing. If you cancel a policy before the effective date, you will get a full refund on the original form of payment. If you cancel the policy after the effective date, you will subject to a pro-rated refund minus a $25 cancellation fee as long as you have no claims filed on your policy. If you do, the premium is earned and no refund will be issued.
